Frequently Asked Questions
Everything from our C3010ND has taken on a greenish cast — is the magenta to blame?
Very likely, yes. Colour printing is a balance of opposites, and green is what you see when magenta — its counterweight — stops pulling its share. Charts take on a swampy tone, photographs go cold, and reds die first because they are built almost entirely from magenta. A green cast across everything, arriving gradually, is the classic signature of this cartridge running out rather than a fault in the machine.
How can we confirm it is the magenta and not another colour?
Print something with a strong red or purple in it. If reds come out muddy orange-brown and purples have gone blue while blues and yellows still look right, the missing ingredient is magenta. Low cyan shows up as washed-out blues instead, and low yellow robs pages of warmth — the green shift is specific to the cartridge this listing replaces.
Will we get any warning before print quality suffers?
The printer reports its toner levels and flags the magenta as it gets low, and it is worth acting on that flag rather than squeezing the cartridge dry: delivery thins before it stops, so colour quality slides ahead of any empty warning. Ordering when the low notice appears keeps a shared machine like the C3010ND from drifting off-colour while a replacement is in transit.
What does the page cost work out to at this yield?
The CLT-M503L is $147.97 for a 5,000-page rating — roughly 2.96 cents per page for the magenta component. Colour stations never rival black on cost, and we will not pretend otherwise; what the high-yield rating does is hold that figure as low as this platform allows while stretching the interval between changes.
Which machines take this cartridge?
This magenta serves Samsung's ProXpress C3010 and C3060 colour machines — the C3010ND at the centre of this listing, alongside the C3010DW, C3060F and C3060FW. It fits the magenta position only and is changed independently of the other three colours.
What protection does the purchase carry?
Every unit is backed by a one-year warranty against defects, with free returns throughout that first year if the cartridge does not do its job — see our shipping and returns page for the complete picture. Support is available Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST if you want a hand diagnosing a colour problem before you buy.
