Frequently Asked Questions

What is the lowest per-cartridge price in this cartridge family?

This ten-pack holds it: $247.09 for ten MLT-D205E cartridges is $24.71 each, against $41.35 for a single — a saving of $166.41 across the set. Spread over the pack's 100,000 rated pages, toner costs about a quarter of a cent per page.

When does a ten-pack stop making sense?

When the maths of your own page counter says so. The warranty on each cartridge runs one year from purchase, so a ten-pack only earns its discount if your printers will realistically consume ten cartridges in that sort of window. Below that pace, the smaller packs protect you better than the headline saving does.

Which printers can this stock feed?

The ML-3712DW, ML-3712ND and SCX-5639FR all take the MLT-D205E, so a ten-pack can serve a whole cluster of these machines as one shared pool. Any Samsung model outside that list uses a different supply — check the code on the cartridge you are replacing.

How much printing does the pack actually cover?

Each cartridge is rated at 10,000 pages, so the set carries 100,000 rated pages in total. A department printing 8,000 pages a month across its machines is looking at roughly a year of toner settled in a single order.

Are drums part of the deal?

No. These printers run the toner alongside a separate MLT-R205 imaging unit with its own life span, and this pack is toner only. Persistent fading or streaks on a fresh cartridge point to that drum, which is ordered and replaced separately.

What warranty and returns come with the ten-pack?

All ten cartridges are covered by a one-year warranty, and returns are free inside the first year if a cartridge fails. The full terms sit on our shipping and returns page, and support answers Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST.
