Frequently Asked Questions

What does a printed page actually cost with this CLP-K660 set?

The set costs $214.52 and carries 20,500 rated pages — 5,500 from the black and 5,000 from each of the three colors — which works out at roughly 1.05 cents per page across the whole box. Split another way, each of the four cartridges effectively accounts for about $53.63 of the set price, regardless of which color position it fills.

I order by cartridge code, not by printer. What do the four codes in the name stand for?

They are the four members of the 660B high-yield family. CLP-K660B is the black, rated at 5,500 pages; CLP-C660B, CLP-M660B and CLP-Y660B are the cyan, magenta and yellow, rated at 5,000 pages each. The set simply bundles one of each code, so a single order line covers every cartridge the machine can ask for.

Roughly how long will one set last in a small office?

It depends on volume and on how color-heavy the work is. A team printing around 800 pages a month would take close to seven months to work through the black cartridge alone, and the set as a whole holds well over two years' worth of pages at that pace. Ratings assume about 5% page coverage, so dense graphics and full-page color will shorten those spans.

Which printers are these cartridges made for?

The 660B family serves the CLP-610ND, CLP-660N and CLP-660ND printers together with the CLX-6200FX, CLX-6200ND and CLX-6210FX multifunction machines. Any model outside that list takes a different cartridge range, so it is worth checking the nameplate on your machine against those six before ordering.

Why buy all four colors as one set instead of ordering them separately over time?

Convenience and certainty. One order at $214.52 puts every position in the machine in stock at once, at a price you know in advance, instead of leaving you to discover an empty color in the middle of a deadline and scramble for a single cartridge. The spares wait sealed in the cupboard until the printer asks for them.

If a cartridge in the set turns out to be faulty, what can we do?

Send it back. Every cartridge here is a Clever Supplies compatible backed by a one-year warranty, and our free returns window likewise runs for a year from the day you bought it. You will find the procedure in full on the shipping & returns page, and our team is on hand Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST if you would rather talk it through first.
