Frequently Asked Questions
How long will one of these sets keep a busy CLP-670 going?
The box holds 8,500 rated pages: 2,500 from the CLT-K508S black and 2,000 apiece from the CLT-C508S, CLT-M508S and CLT-Y508S colours. A workstation printing 1,000 pages a month, mostly text, should see the black last around ten weeks and the colours considerably longer; if half the output is colour, expect the colour ratings to be the ones that set the reorder date.
What is inside the set?
Four standard-capacity cartridges — one CLT-K508S black, one CLT-C508S cyan, one CLT-M508S magenta and one CLT-Y508S yellow. The price is $193.67 for the set, which is about $48.42 per cartridge, with nothing further needed to bring all four positions back to full.
We print almost entirely in black — why buy colours at all?
Because the machine will eventually ask for them: colour positions that sit empty can halt printing, and colour ratings are consumed slowly by cleaning cycles and the odd colour page even in a text-led office. With the colours already on the shelf at the set price, a surprise stoppage never turns into an emergency single-cartridge order at a worse rate.
When is the sensible moment to reorder?
When the first low-toner warning appears, not when a cartridge runs dry mid-run. The ratings give you the maths: at 5% coverage the black alone covers roughly 2,500 pages, so a warning at typical office volumes still leaves days of printing while a replacement ships from our nearest warehouse.
How quick is fitting the set?
Each cartridge swaps individually in a couple of minutes — open the front cover, slide the old unit out, seat the new one. There is no need to change all four in one sitting; most offices fit the empty one and let the others finish their life, which is exactly how the set is priced to be used.
What if a cartridge turns out to be faulty?
It sits under a one-year warranty, and returns during that first year are free. Shipments originate from Illinois, Pennsylvania, Georgia or California depending on your address, help is available Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST, and the small print lives on our shipping & returns page.
About This CLP-670 Four-Colour Set
Centred on the CLP-670, this bundle assembles the standard-yield CLT-508S quartet — CLT-K508S, CLT-C508S, CLT-M508S and CLT-Y508S — at $193.67, and it equally serves the CLP-620ND and CLP-670N printers on the same platform. It suits the office that would rather hold one complete refresh than track four separate reorder dates: fit them together for a clean slate, or draw them down one at a time over the months ahead. The rest of the compatible range for the marque is gathered on our Samsung page.
