Frequently Asked Questions

How long will one cartridge last in a small office?

One cartridge is rated for 6,000 pages at standard coverage. An office printing around 500 pages a month gets roughly a year out of it; at 1,500 pages a month, plan on about four months. Heavy graphics and dense pages use toner faster than plain text, so treat 6,000 as a realistic working figure rather than a promise.

What does a page actually cost with this cartridge?

At $37.06 for 6,000 pages, the toner cost works out to about 0.62 cents per page — well under a penny. For a small office watching its running costs, that is the main reason to choose this yield class over smaller cartridges that need replacing twice as often.

Which printers does this cartridge work in?

This cartridge is made for Ricoh SP 3600DN. If your machine is a different Ricoh model, check the cartridge number on your current box or in the printer's supply screen before ordering, since physically similar cartridges are not always interchangeable.

How do I know the cartridge is really empty and not just low?

The printer's low-toner warning appears well before the toner is truly gone. When pages start coming out noticeably faded even after you remove the cartridge and rock it gently side to side to redistribute the toner, the cartridge is finished and ready to be replaced.

What if the cartridge arrives damaged or prints badly?

Every cartridge is covered by a 1-year warranty, and returns are free for a full year as well. If a cartridge is defective, contact support and it will be replaced or refunded under the terms on our shipping and returns page.

How fast will my order get to me?

Orders ship from the closest of our four warehouses in IL, PA, GA and CA, so most customers see delivery in a few business days depending on distance. Support is available Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST, if you need tracking help.
