Frequently Asked Questions

What kind of office buys five cartridges in one order?

One that treats toner as stocked supply rather than an emergency purchase. Five cartridges cover an installed set plus forward stock, so the machine keeps working through successive change-outs without a fresh order each time. For shared machines with steady volume, that buffer is the difference between a routine swap and a paused department.

How is the price structured on this set?

The set is $306.04 for five cartridges — $61.21 per cartridge on average, the lowest per-cartridge figure among this family's pack options. Averaging is the honest way to state it: the set's worth is the unit price combined with having deep stock on hand, not a headline discount.

What yields should we expect from the cartridges in the set?

Judge them by color class, not by adding pages together: black cartridges in this family are rated at up to 22,500 pages each, and color cartridges at up to 15,000 pages each. How long the set lasts depends on your mix of black and color work, since the classes are consumed at different speeds.

Which machines is this 5-pack intended for?

It stocks the high-yield cartridges for Ricoh Aficio MP C3001 and MP C3501. These machines also accept the standard-yield versions of the same cartridges, so anything left in the cupboard from earlier standard-yield purchases remains usable alongside this set.

How do we store five cartridges without them getting damaged or lost track of?

Keep the boxes sealed, flat and off the floor in one designated cupboard, away from sunlight and heat sources. Mark each box with its arrival month and use oldest stock first. A simple rule — one shelf, date on every box — prevents both deterioration and the classic mystery of the spare nobody can find when a cartridge empties.

What if one cartridge in the five turns out to be defective?

It is dealt with individually under the 1-year warranty, and compatible cartridges also carry 1-year free returns; the policy wording is on our shipping & returns page. The other cartridges are unaffected. Support is reachable Monday–Friday, 9 AM–5 PM CST, and stock ships from IL, PA, GA and CA.
