Also fits: This cartridge also fits the Ricoh IM C3000 and IM C3500 — the same machines also sold under the Savin and Lanier brands with the same model names. Ricoh's rated yields for this platform are 31,000 pages for black and 19,000 pages for each color.

Frequently Asked Questions

We are putting a C3000 into service at a second office — is a full set the right first supply order?

It is a sensible one. A machine going into a new location starts with unknown toner levels, and a complete set means every color is fresh, matched in age and off the worry list from day one. It also sets a clean baseline: when the first cartridge eventually runs low, you know the whole set has lived the same working life.

What does one full set actually cover, in page terms?

The set pairs one black cartridge rated at 31,000 pages with cyan, magenta and yellow cartridges rated at 19,000 pages each. In practice that means the color side will need attention first in most offices, while the black carries on — a full set is one complete round of consumables for the machine, not four cartridges that expire together.

Do the cartridges in a set perform any differently from the same cartridges bought singly?

No. The set is the standard 842251 black and its three color partners, exactly as sold individually — the difference is the bundle price and one box to store and track. You save $55.47 against the $412.29 the four would cost separately, and lose nothing in yield or quality for it.

Does this set fit only the C3000, or the wider platform too?

The whole platform. The listing is titled for one model, but these cartridges — the 842251 black and its three color partners — serve the entire Ricoh IM C3000 and IM C3500 family, and any machine on that platform takes this same set. Buy it for whichever of those machines you run; the box does not change.

Our colors get used unevenly — is a set still sensible if only two cartridges are low?

Honestly, that is the case where singles can be the smarter buy. The set earns its saving when most of the cartridges are due around the same time — a new installation, a machine that has run its originals down together, or a planned refresh. If only one color is low and the rest are fresh, replace the one and keep the set for when the machine needs a full round.

How does the one-year cover work when four cartridges arrive in a single order?

Each cartridge in the set is covered individually by the one-year warranty, and returns are free for a full year across the order — see our shipping and returns page for the details. One misbehaving cartridge does not drag the other three into the claim. Our support team is available Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST.
