Frequently Asked Questions
Who actually goes through six color cartridges?
Offices where color is the everyday output, not the exception — training handouts, sales materials, classroom packs — and offices running more than one printer from this platform off a shared supply shelf. If color printing is occasional, this box is honestly more stock than you need.
What does the per-cartridge price work out to in this set?
Six cartridges for $409.91 averages about $68.32 each, against $83.73 for a single color cartridge. Since every cartridge here is a color rated around 6,000 pages, that brings the color cost down to roughly 1.14 cents per page — still not bargain territory, but a meaningful improvement over singles.
Do these cartridges serve more than the one model in the title?
No — this is a colors-only set, with six cartridges spread across the cyan, magenta, and yellow positions. Black for this platform is the separate 406475 cartridge, rated around 6,500 pages, and it is ordered on its own cycle.
How should we store and rotate six cartridges?
Keep them sealed, flat, and away from heat and sunlight, and use the oldest stock first so nothing sits for years before installation. Marking the purchase date on each box with a pen is a simple way to keep the rotation honest in a busy supply cabinet.
What happens if one cartridge from the set turns out faulty?
It is treated like any single purchase: a one-year warranty applies and returns are free within the year. Contact support Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST, and our shipping and returns page explains the process.
