Frequently Asked Questions
When does a five-cartridge set make more sense than buying singles?
When reordering has become a recurring chore. Five cartridges in one order covers an extended stretch of mixed black and color printing, cuts the number of purchase orders and deliveries, and prices each cartridge well below what you would pay one at a time.
How does the math compare with single cartridges?
The set is $313.25, which averages about $62.65 per cartridge. Set that against $83.73 for a single color cartridge or $68.01 for a single black, and the per-cartridge saving on every swap is clear, whichever slot you are filling.
Will this set fit other printers, or just the model named?
What yields should we plan around for the cartridges in this set?
Plan by position: black cartridges for this platform are rated around 6,500 pages and color cartridges around 6,000 pages each, both at the standard 5% coverage benchmark. Coverage on real pages varies, so busy color work will cycle through the color positions faster than the black.
How long might a set this size sit on our shelf?
That depends entirely on your volume — a busy shared printer can work through five cartridges in months, while a quiet single machine might take well over a year. Sealed cartridges keep well in cool, dry storage, but if your color printing is light, a smaller set is the more sensible buy and we would rather sell you that.
What cover comes with a set purchase?
Every cartridge in the set is protected by our one-year warranty, and free returns run for twelve months from the order date. Reach support Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST, or read the terms on our shipping and returns page.
