Frequently Asked Questions
My black cartridge still has plenty left. Can I refresh just the colors?
That is exactly what this set is for. It contains only the three colors, because black and color rarely run out together — the black cartridge in this platform is rated around 6,500 pages against roughly 6,000 for each color, and most offices print far more text than color, so the two sides live on different schedules.
What does the set save versus three separate color cartridges?
Cyan, magenta, and yellow bought individually cost $83.73 apiece, or $251.19 for the three. This set is $214.20 — a saving of $36.99 — which brings the effective price down to about $71.40 per color cartridge.
Will fresh colors change how my prints look next to an older black cartridge?
Color pages may look slightly richer once all three colors are new and evenly matched, while black text output is unaffected by the swap. Any shift is the old, unevenly depleted colors leaving the picture rather than a problem with the new set.
Does the order I install the three colors matter?
It does not. Each color has its own slot and is replaced independently, so you can fit all three in one session or install them days apart as each old cartridge finishes — whichever suits your workload.
How are these cartridges guaranteed?
All three are covered by a one-year warranty with free returns running for a full year from purchase. Support answers Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST, and the full policy sits on our shipping and returns page.
