Frequently Asked Questions
What kind of printing volume justifies a 5-pack?
Five black cartridges total roughly 32,500 rated pages. That suits a business that has standardized on this compact platform — several machines on a floor, or one printer with genuinely heavy daily output — and wants a supply shelf that only needs attention a couple of times a year.
How far does the 5-pack pull the price down?
At $266.11 versus $340.05 for five singles, you save $73.94 and each cartridge costs $53.22 — the lowest per-cartridge price in this family. That brings black printing to about 0.82 cents per page, the best this platform's economics get.
Does one model name in the title mean these only fit that printer?
Any storage tips when I'm holding four spares at once?
Keep them sealed, flat, and in a cool, dry spot away from sunlight, and rotate stock so the oldest box gets installed first. Toner keeps well in its packaging, so a year's worth of spares is not a shelf-life gamble.
Should a light user buy this pack to get the discount?
Honestly, no. If one cartridge lasts you the better part of a year, five cartridges could outlast the printer itself, and the per-page saving would never be realized. The discount rewards volume you will actually print — lighter users are better served by the single or the 2-pack.
Are all five cartridges covered if one turns out faulty?
Yes — every cartridge is backed by our one-year warranty and a year of free returns, whether it is the first one you install or the last. Questions are answered Monday–Friday, 9 AM–5 PM CST, and the policy details are on our shipping and returns page.
