Frequently Asked Questions

How does a six-cartridge set change our ordering routine?

It mostly removes it. Instead of watching toner gauges and placing an order every time a color dips, you reorder on a calendar rhythm — when the shelf stock runs down to the last cartridges, not when a job is already waiting. For an office manager, that turns toner from a recurring interruption into a quarterly chore.

How long will six cartridges realistically last us?

It depends on which class drains first in your office, because the ratings differ by class: black cartridges are rated at 10,000 pages and color cartridges at 5,500 pages in this family. A mixed office printing a few thousand pages a month typically measures a set this size in seasons, not weeks; a nearly all-text office will work through the black depth long before the colors.

Can we split this set between two machines in different departments?

Yes, and that is a common way it is bought. Any machine in the family behind Ricoh Aficio MP C2030, MP C2050 and MP C2530 — the Ricoh Aficio MP C2030, MP C2050 and MP C2530 — draws from the same cartridge pool, so departments can share one stock instead of each keeping a partial set that never quite matches what empties.

What is the per-cartridge cost at this size?

The set is $274.57 for six cartridges, which averages about $45.76 per cartridge — well below the single-cartridge prices in this family, where a lone yellow costs $80.18. Averages hide the mix, of course, but the direction is real: depth is where this platform's toner gets economical.

Is there a volume where this set stops making sense?

Yes, and we will say it plainly: if your machine prints color only occasionally, six cartridges is money parked on a shelf, and singles or the three-color set will serve you better. This set earns its price in offices where color output is weekly or daily and an empty cartridge means someone's deadline slips.

If something goes wrong with one cartridge deep into the set, what then?

It is handled on its own, whenever it surfaces. Each cartridge carries a one-year warranty and a year of free returns from purchase — the full terms are on our shipping and returns page — and the remaining cartridges are unaffected. You are never asked to send back good toner to claim on a bad one.

About This Ricoh C2030 6 Color Toner Set
