Frequently Asked Questions

Our black output still looks perfect but every color page is off — is this the set we need?

That pattern is exactly what this set is for. On this platform the black cartridge (10,000 pages) routinely outlives the colors (5,500 pages each), so there is a long stretch where text is crisp and only color work suffers. This set refreshes cyan, magenta and yellow together and leaves your healthy black cartridge alone.

Just to be clear — is there a black cartridge in this box?

There is not, and we would rather say so twice than have it surprise you. This is a three-cartridge color set: cyan, magenta and yellow only. If your black is also low, order the black 841280 single or the two-pack separately, or choose the four-color set instead.

What does the color set save over buying the three singles?

The three color singles total $183.51; the set is $146.53, a $36.98 saving. Since the colors tend to fade within a short window of each other on this machine, most offices end up buying all three anyway — the set simply prices that reality honestly.

Should I install all three colors at once, or only the one that is empty?

Either works. Installing all three gives you a known starting point and one maintenance interruption; installing only the empty one stretches the cash outlay. A middle path many offices use: swap the empty color now and shelf the other two sealed — they will be needed soon enough, and sealed cartridges keep well in a cool, dry cabinet.

Does this set fit machines other than the C2030 named in the title?

Yes. These are the standard color cartridges for the whole platform behind Ricoh Aficio MP C2030, MP C2050 and MP C2530 — the Ricoh Aficio MP C2030, MP C2050 and MP C2530 share the same cyan, magenta and yellow cartridges. The C2030 in the listing title is just the lead model name for the family.

How are warranty and returns handled for a multi-cartridge set like this?

Each cartridge stands on its own: if one of the three ever leaks, streaks or fails early, that cartridge alone is covered — you do not return the healthy ones. Coverage runs a full year from purchase, with free returns during that year under our returns policy, and our support team is available Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST.

About This Ricoh C2030 3 Color Toner Set

This set covers the color side of the Ricoh Aficio MP C2030 platform: cyan, magenta and yellow, each rated at 5,500 pages, with no black cartridge included — by design, since the 10,000-page black usually still has life left when the colors fade. Priced at $146.53 against $183.51 for the three singles, it saves $36.98. It ships from our warehouses in IL, PA, GA and CA, and every cartridge carries a one-year warranty with one year of free returns.
