Frequently Asked Questions
Our SP 3300 is years old — is it even worth putting another cartridge in it?
If the printer still feeds paper cleanly and prints sharp text, yes. The SP 3300 is a simple, durable black-and-white workhorse, and the machine itself is usually the last thing to wear out. The real problem with printers this age is not the hardware — it is that toner gets harder to find every year. This cartridge keeps a working printer working instead of sending it to the recycling pile over a supply problem.
What does a page actually cost with this cartridge? Be straight with me.
Straight answer: at $89.33 for about 5,000 pages, you are paying roughly 1.79 cents per page, and that is not cheap printing. Cartridges for discontinued models cost more per page than toner for current machines, and we will not pretend otherwise. What you are paying for is availability — a cartridge that fits your SP 3300, in stock, today, instead of a printer replacement you did not budget for.
How long will 5,000 pages last in a small office?
It depends entirely on volume. A desk printing 20 pages a day goes through roughly 400 pages a month, so one cartridge lasts close to a year. A busier shared printer at 100 pages a day finishes it in about ten weeks. Either way, 5,000 pages is a long, predictable run for a machine in this class.
Will this cartridge work in my printer?
It is made for Ricoh Aficio SP 3300. If your machine's front panel or rating label shows the Aficio SP 3300 name, this is the cartridge built for it. If you run a different Ricoh model, check that model's page on our site instead — Ricoh cartridges are not interchangeable across model lines.
What happens if the cartridge is defective or prints poorly?
Every cartridge we sell carries a 1-year warranty, and returns are free for a full year as well. If you get streaks, faded output, or a cartridge that fails early, contact us and we will replace it or refund you — the full policy is on our shipping and returns page. You are not stuck with a bad cartridge.
How fast will I get it, and where does it ship from?
Orders ship from whichever of our four warehouses — Illinois, Pennsylvania, Georgia, or California — gets it to you fastest. If you have a question before or after ordering, our support team answers Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM Central time.
