Frequently Asked Questions

Who is an eight-cartridge C830dn set actually for?

Offices that treat toner like any other bulk supply: high-volume C830dn users, multi-printer sites that standardize on this family, and anyone whose reorder cost — in time, shipping and interruptions — exceeds the shelf space a bulk pack takes. Eight cartridges cover the printer's four positions twice over in total count. The set is built on the same Oki part numbers as the smaller packs: 44059112, 44059111, 44059110 and 44059109.

How does the bulk price compare with the four-color set?

This eight-cartridge set is $202.09. Two of the four-color sets in the same family would total $220.58, so buying in the eight-cartridge bundle saves about $18.49 against that route and brings the average down to roughly $25.26 per cartridge. Every cartridge carries the same rating — up to 8,000 pages, black and colors, at 5% coverage — so the saving comes from the bundle, not from lesser cartridges.

How are the eight cartridges divided among the colors?

The listing data does not publish that breakdown, and we will not invent one. If the exact split matters to your stocking plan — and for a bulk purchase it reasonably might — contact support Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST before ordering and they will confirm the composition of the set. What is certain from the listing: eight cartridges from the 44059109–44059112 family, each rated at up to 8,000 pages.

Can toner sit on our shelf long enough to use eight cartridges?

Yes, with ordinary care. Keep the cartridges sealed in their packaging, stored flat in a cool, dry room away from sunlight and heat sources, and they remain usable across the long consumption cycle a bulk pack implies. The discipline that matters is rotation: use the oldest stock first and note the install date when each cartridge goes in, so your consumption rate — and your next reorder point — stays visible.

Does buying in bulk change my warranty or returns?

No. Each cartridge in this set is a Clever Supplies compatible covered by the same one-year warranty and the same one year of free returns as any single cartridge we sell. A faulty unit from a bulk pack is returned the same way as any other; the steps are on the shipping and returns page.

How is a set this size delivered?

It ships as one order from the best-placed of our four warehouses — Illinois, Pennsylvania, Georgia and California — so even a bulk pack is not crossing the whole country to reach you. If eight is more than your volume justifies, the four-color and five-cartridge sets in this family are listed alongside it on the Okidata page.

About This C830dn Eight-Cartridge Set

The bulk option in the C830dn family, this eight-cartridge set draws on Oki part numbers 44059109, 44059110, 44059111 and 44059112, with every cartridge rated at up to 8,000 pages. At $202.09 it undercuts buying the equivalent cartridges as two four-color sets, and it carries the usual cover: a one-year warranty and one year of free returns on every cartridge.
