Frequently Asked Questions

Does the extra tray on the T652dtn change anything about toner?

Only indirectly. The dtn's second tray usually means letter paper in one tray and legal, letterhead, or forms in the other, so the printer switches stock without anyone reloading it — but every side it prints still comes from the same T650H11A cartridge. Tray capacity affects how often you load paper; the 25,000-page cartridge rating governs how often you change toner.

Why does the 25,000-page figure vary on forms-heavy work?

Yields are measured at 5% page coverage, the density of a typical text page. Pre-printed-style forms, invoices with shaded boxes, and logo-heavy documents lay down more toner per page, so real-world life drops below 25,000 on those jobs. Plain correspondence can meet or beat the rating — mixed-tray offices usually land somewhere between.

What does a page cost to print with this cartridge?

At $169.69 for up to 25,000 pages, toner runs about 0.68 cents per page. For a T652dtn handling mixed letter and legal work all day, that is the number that belongs in your cost-per-page tracking — it holds regardless of which tray the paper came from.

The title only mentions the T652dtn — is compatibility really that narrow?

Not at all. This listing spotlights the T652dtn, but the T650H11A is the shared high-yield cartridge for the entire T650 platform, which includes T650, T650n, T650dn, T650dtn, T652, T652n, T652dn, T652dtn, T654, T654n, T654dn, T654dtn, T656dne, TS654dn and TS656dne. If your model appears there, this cartridge is the correct fit even though the page is titled for the dtn.

What happens when the cartridge runs out mid-run?

The printer pauses the job and asks for toner; swapping the cartridge takes a couple of minutes and the job can resume. On a tray-loaded machine printing long mixed batches, that pause is exactly why many offices keep the replacement within arm's reach — and why the low-toner warning is worth acting on early rather than at empty.

What if the cartridge arrives with a defect?

Then it comes back to us free and we sort it out — you have one-year warranty cover against defects and a one-year free returns window, both explained on our shipping & returns page. Support hours are Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST.
