Frequently Asked Questions

Why does a shared T652dn need a spare cartridge more than most printers?

When a personal printer runs dry, one person waits. When the workgroup's networked T652dn runs dry, everyone's print jobs queue up behind an empty cartridge. This 2-pack keeps one T650H11A in the machine and one sealed beside it, so a mid-week runout becomes a two-minute swap instead of a department-wide pause.

What do I save by taking the pair?

The pack is $320.91 versus $339.38 for two cartridges bought one at a time — a saving of $18.47. That works out to $160.46 per cartridge and lowers your running cost to roughly 0.64 cents per page over the pack's 50,000-page capacity.

How long will 50,000 pages last a busy workgroup?

On a shared T652dn printing about 5,000 pages a month, the pair covers around 10 months. Lighter groups will see well over a year. Either way, the reorder cycle stretches out, and the spare means the second half of that period is protected against sudden runouts.

Does this cartridge work in the other printers in our office?

Likely yes. This listing is written for the T652dn, but the T650H11A serves the whole T650 family — including T650, T650n, T650dn, T650dtn, T652, T652n, T652dn, T652dtn, T654, T654n, T654dn, T654dtn, T656dne, TS654dn and TS656dne. If your office standardizes on that platform, one pack type can cover several machines, which simplifies everyone's ordering.

Where should the spare live until it is needed?

Sealed in its bag, flat in a drawer or cabinet near the printer, out of direct sun and away from heat sources. Toner does not dry out the way ink does, so a stored cartridge stays ready for a long time. When the installed one fades, the spare goes straight in.

What if something goes wrong with a cartridge from the pack?

Tell us and we will make it right — each cartridge is under a one-year warranty, and returns are free for a year from purchase, as described on our shipping & returns page. Our support team answers Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST.
