• How many pages does the HP CC644WN print?

  Built into the cartridge itself. Every swap fits a fresh printhead, which is why a new cartridge often clears streaks and missing colours that cleaning cycles could not fix on these models.

• Standard or XL — which should I buy?

  This is the high-yield version, rated at about 440 pages. It costs more up front than the standard cartridge and far less per printed page, so it is the right pick for regular printing; the standard size suits a printer that only runs occasionally.

• Is the CC644WN pigment or dye ink?

  It is dye-based ink, matching the original CC644WN: colours are vivid and blend smoothly, which is what these printers are tuned for.

• Is there a chip on this cartridge?

  Yes — a new compatible chip that reports ink levels to the printer, so the low-ink warnings keep working. It is not a refilled original shell with a reset chip.

• The printer is showing a warning after I installed it — what now?

  Acknowledge the on-screen message, reseat the cartridge until it clicks, and restart the printer. If the warning persists, wipe the gold chip contacts with a dry lint-free cloth and reinstall.

• Is the HP 60 the same fit as the HP 901?

  No. They serve different printer generations — the 60 fits the DeskJet F-series, Photosmart C4600/D110 and the ENVY 100, 110 and 120 on this page, while the 901 belongs to the OfficeJet 4500 and J-series. The cartridges are not interchangeable.

• Can I run this alongside original HP cartridges?

  Yes. Each slot is read independently, so a compatible black alongside original colours (or the other way round) prints normally.

• Is this a genuine HP cartridge?
