Frequently Asked Questions

What arrives in this four pack?

Four black 148A cartridges, each sealed in its own protective bag inside one carton, for $183.28. They are bought in one go so a busy office restocks its shelf in a single order instead of four separate ones.

How do I know these fit the 4001?

By the code on the cartridge you are replacing: W1480A, the 148A. This listing is the 4001 version of that cartridge, and the code is the check that matters — read it off the old cartridge's label and match it before you order.

What does a 1,500-page rating mean for lease paperwork?

Leases, move-in notices and maintenance letters are ordinary text pages, and 1,500 pages is a solid stretch of them between changes. Long leases with dense clauses spend toner a little faster than a one-page notice, so read the figure as the standard yardstick it is, not a fixed count for your office.

Why would a property office hold four cartridges?

Because its printing arrives in waves — a run of new leases and renewals can land in the same week. Four cartridges on the shelf absorb those waves without a mid-week order, and sealed stock keeps perfectly well between them; dry toner does not spoil on the shelf.

Talk me through fitting one.

Lift the top cover, pull the finished cartridge straight out, and unpack a fresh one. A gentle side-to-side rock settles the toner inside, then strip the packing materials, slide the cartridge in until it seats and close the cover. Done in a couple of minutes, no tools required.

What happens if one cartridge is faulty?

Every cartridge is covered by a 1-year warranty and 1-year free returns, so a faulty unit is replaced or refunded rather than argued over. Our support team is available Monday–Friday, 9 AM–5 PM CST for anything else.

About This 4001 Four Pack

This four pack serves the HP LaserJet Pro 4001 in a property management office, where leases, inspection notices and tenant letters come off the printer in seasonal waves. Four W1480A black cartridges rated at 1,500 pages each, at $183.28 for the set, put the whole season's toner on one shelf and one invoice. It is not a one-printer part — the 4001dn, 4001dw, 4002dn, 4101fdn and 4101fdw each accept it. The same fit reaches further in its high-yield form: the 148X (W1480X) four-pack.

Stock up once and the logistics look after themselves: orders ship from the closest of our warehouses in IL, PA, GA and CA, timing is explained on the shipping & returns page, and the family's wider range lives under HP in the catalogue.
