Frequently Asked Questions

Two 126A printers share our back room. Can one 8 Color Set serve both?

Yes — that is the natural use of a family stock. Every cartridge in the set is a standard CE310A, CE311A, CE312A or CE313A unit, individually sealed, so whichever machine flags a station first takes what it needs from the shared shelf. Eight cartridges for $176.65 keeps both printers out of the emergency-order habit.

How do we keep track of what is left?

A pencil line on the cupboard door works surprisingly well: note the code and date each time a box is taken. Because each carton is printed with its code — CE310A black, CE311A cyan, CE312A yellow, CE313A magenta — a ten-second glance tells you the shelf's state.

What ratings govern how fast the stock drains?

Each black CE310A is rated at 1,200 pages and each color at 1,000 pages. Two machines drawing on one shelf roughly halve the interval between reorders compared with stocking for one, with black still the fastest-moving code in document-heavy rooms.

Does it matter which printer a cartridge goes into first?

No. The cartridges are interchangeable across the 126A family; there is no pairing or registration step. Fit by code and station color, and either machine accepts the unit.

How should eight boxes be stored in a working back room?

Sealed, flat, and off the floor — a shelf away from heaters and damp. Keep the cartons closed until a swap; opened seals are the only real enemy of stored toner.

What cover stands behind a shared stock like this?

Every set is covered by a 1-year warranty with 1-year free returns, applying cartridge by cartridge, so a faulty unit is covered whichever of the two printers it was destined for.

About This 126A 8 Color Set — One Stock for the Whole Family

The 126A family was built so that a shelf of four codes — CE310A black at 1,200 pages per cartridge, CE311A cyan, CE312A yellow and CE313A magenta at 1,000 pages each — can feed several different printers, the Color LaserJet CP1025nw among them. This 8 Color Set at $176.65 turns that design into a stocking strategy: buy the family deep, once, and let both machines draw from it.

Orders leave from our IL, PA, GA and CA warehouses; delivery and returns details are on the shipping & returns page. Support answers Monday–Friday, 9 AM–5 PM CST, and the HP range carries singles of each code for fine-tuning the shelf later.
