How can I tell yellow is the colour running out?

Prints drift blue and green loses its warmth, because yellow is what builds greens and warm tones. Print a nozzle check: a complete yellow pattern with shifted colours points to a low cartridge rather than a blocked nozzle.

Which printers does this yellow fit?

Expression Home XP-5100 and WorkForce WF-2860 — the full US 202 list from Epson's own data. It does not fit the European XP-5105 or WF-2865, which take region-coded Kiwi cartridges.

Dye or pigment?

Dye. The 202 colours are dye-based Claria ink, blended for colour smoothness; only the black cartridge in this family is pigment.
