Which printers use this magenta?

Why do my prints look green or blue when magenta runs low?

Magenta is the balancing colour: as it fades, greens and blues dominate and skin tones go cold. A nozzle check separates a dry cartridge (pattern complete, colours shifted) from a clog (pattern broken).

Is the ink dye or pigment?

Dye — all three 202 colours are dye-based Claria ink. The family's pigment cartridge is the black. Dye magenta is what gives this system its smooth photo gradation.
