Frequently Asked Questions
Why does the second cartridge in this 2-pack effectively cost less?
Run the arithmetic: two single cartridges cost $121.90. This pack is $103.42, so once the first cartridge is counted at its single price of $60.95, the second effectively adds $42.47. Put the other way, the pack brings the average down to $51.71 a cartridge and saves $18.48 against buying the pair separately.
What does 70,000 pages of runway mean for one machine?
It means toner stops being a recurring thought. A Dell 7330 working through 10,000 pages a month takes about seven months to finish both cartridges; at 5,000 a month the pair covers well over a year. With that much runway in the cupboard, the next order is a planned purchase made in office hours, not an emergency raised when the machine stops.
Should the pack be split between two machines, or kept for one?
Either works, because both cartridges are the same 330-3110. Two machines can take one each, or one machine can run the first while the second waits as its spare. If you split the pack, note where each cartridge went — at these yields it will be months before anyone needs to remember.
What does this pack bring the cost per page down to?
About 0.15 cents per page, against roughly 0.17 cents at the single-cartridge price. The single cartridge is already inexpensive per page; the pack trims a further slice off a number that is then applied to all 70,000 pages the pair will print.
How should the second cartridge be stored while the first is in use?
In its sealed packaging, flat, in a dry cupboard at normal room temperature and away from sunlight. There is no benefit to opening it early, and every reason to keep it exactly as delivered — when the first cartridge fades, months from now, the second goes straight in.
What if one of the two cartridges turns out to be faulty?
Each cartridge carries its own cover: a 1-year warranty and 1-year free returns, so a faulty unit is dealt with on its own merits — you are not returning a good cartridge because its partner failed. Support is available Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST, and the terms are on our shipping & returns page.
