Frequently Asked Questions

I am trying to cut the D1350's running costs. Where is the saving here?

In the cartridge price, plainly. This compatible C120BK costs $32.42 for a 5,000-page rating — about 0.65 cents a page for the Canon 120 your D1350 runs on. Compatible pricing is the lever; the machine, the output and the page count stay the same, and the per-page figure is what drops.

Is the saving a one-off, or does it grow?

It compounds with volume and with pack size. Every cartridge at this price saves against the original-brand alternative, and the multi-packs of the same C120BK push the per-cartridge price lower still — down through the twenties and into the teens per cartridge at the largest sizes in this range. A D1350 in regular service feels that difference across a year.

Confirm the cartridge for me before I spend anything.

The imageCLASS D1350 takes the Canon 120 black cartridge, code C120BK. It is the machine's only toner cartridge — black only, one unit, nothing else to match or confuse it with. If the cartridge coming out of your printer is a 120, this is the compatible going back in.

Will I notice a difference in the print itself?

The cartridge is built to deliver the D1350's everyday black-and-white work — letters, documents, copies — at the standard the machine is capable of. What you will notice is the invoice for the cartridge. And on the off chance a unit underperforms, the warranty below is the safety net.

Spell out that safety net.

A 1-year warranty and 1-year free returns cover this compatible cartridge, with the full terms on our shipping and returns page. Orders ship from warehouses in IL, PA, GA and CA, and our support team is reachable Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST.

How do I know when to reorder?

The D1350 will warn you when toner runs low; treat that as the order trigger, or keep one sealed C120BK in reserve and reorder when the spare goes into the machine. At 5,000 rated pages per cartridge, most offices are ordering a few times a year at most.
