Frequently Asked Questions

Thirty thousand pages between orders — what does that do to the reorder calendar?

It stretches it to the point where toner nearly disappears from it. Two GPR6BK cartridges give you 30,000 rated pages: at 3,000 pages a month, that is around ten months of cover from one order; at 5,000 a month, half a year. One cartridge runs in the machine while the second waits, so a changeover never waits on a delivery, and purchasing deals with this line item twice a year instead of every few weeks.

What does this pack do to the per-cartridge price?

The 2-pack is $56.15, or $28.08 per cartridge against $37.32 for a single — two singles would cost $74.64, so the pack saves $18.49 and brings the rated cost down to roughly 0.19 cents per page from about 0.25. It is the first step on the GPR-6 ladder and the one most departments land on: a real saving without committing to a store-room shelf of stock.

How long can the spare sit before we should worry about it?

Months are not a problem for a sealed toner cartridge kept flat in a normal office environment, away from heaters and direct sun. Keep the spare in its packaging until the day it is installed, and if you ever hold more than one spare, use the older box first. What degrades a waiting cartridge is heat and an opened seal, not the calendar.

How do we verify this pack fits our machine?

Read the label on the cartridge currently installed: this pack replaces the Canon GPR-6, code GPR6BK. Take care in buildings running more than one copier family — the Canon GPR-18 is a different cartridge for different imageRUNNER models, and GPR-6 and GPR-18 stock cannot be pooled or substituted in either direction.

What if one cartridge in the pack prints badly?

Each unit is covered by a 1-year warranty with 1-year free returns — details on our shipping & returns page. Early fading, leaking or persistent streaking on either cartridge is a call to us, and we will replace or refund the faulty unit rather than leave it running in a working machine.

Where does the order ship from, and can we talk to someone?

From whichever of our Illinois, Pennsylvania, Georgia or California warehouses is closest to you, so the pack is a short delivery away. Our support team answers Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST for order questions, cartridge problems and pack-size advice grounded in your actual volume.
