Frequently Asked Questions
What problem does a 5-pack solve that a 2-pack doesn't?
Reorder frequency. Five GPR18BK cartridges cover 41,500 rated pages, so an imageRUNNER department printing a few thousand pages a month can go the better part of a year between orders — and a supply closet serving more than one machine stops running dry in the middle of someone else's print run. Every emergency single ordered at full price quietly erases the saving multi-packs are supposed to deliver; the 5-pack is sized to make emergencies rare.
What is the per-cartridge and per-page cost here?
The pack is $69.99, which is $14.00 per cartridge — less than half the $28.78 single price — and five singles bought separately would total $143.90, so the pack saves $73.91. Per page you are at roughly 0.17 cents, against about 0.35 cents buying one at a time. The steps on this ladder are narrow at the bottom, but by five cartridges the economics are unambiguous.
Will cartridges four and five still be good when we reach them?
Yes, with ordinary supply-room discipline: keep them sealed, stored flat, away from radiators, heaters and sunlit windows, and use older stock first. A sealed toner cartridge waits patiently for months; what shortens its life is heat and being opened early. If your volume drops and the pack will clearly outlast the machine's time in service, step down to the 3-pack instead — the right size is the one you actually finish.
How do we make sure we're ordering the right GPR cartridge?
Read the label on the cartridge in the machine. This pack is the Canon GPR-18, code GPR18BK. The Canon GPR-6 is a separate cartridge family for different imageRUNNER models — similar name, different machine, no substitution either way. In a building with several copiers, labelling the shelf by cartridge code rather than by room name prevents most wrong orders.
What happens if a cartridge from this pack fails in service?
Every unit carries a 1-year warranty and 1-year free returns; the detail is on our shipping & returns page. Fading, leaking or streaking from any cartridge in the pack is covered — describe the output when you contact us and we will replace or refund the faulty unit.
How does delivery work on a bulk restock like this?
Your order ships from whichever of our Illinois, Pennsylvania, Georgia or California warehouses is nearest, keeping transit short even on a five-cartridge box. For anything order-related or technical, support is staffed by real people Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST.
