Frequently Asked Questions

This listing says "Premium Quality" — and costs exactly the same $88.15 as the standard 5-pack. Why?

Because on every measurable point, the two listings are the same offer, and we would rather tell you that than invent a difference. Same cartridge: the compatible Canon 120, part number 2617B001AA. Same rating: 5,000 pages per cartridge, 25,000 in the box. Same price: $88.15, which is $17.63 per cartridge and about 0.35 cents per page. Same backing: a 1-year warranty and 1-year free returns on every unit. "Premium Quality" is the wording on this listing, not a second, better cartridge hiding behind it — order either listing and what arrives, and what stands behind it, is the same.

So which 5-pack listing should I actually put in the cart?

Whichever you are looking at. There is no wrong choice between this one and the standard 5-pack listing, because the part number, the page yield, the price and the warranty are identical. What deserves your attention is not the adjective in the title but the numbers: check that the cartridge is the 2617B001AA your machine takes, and that the pack size matches your volume. If both listings agree on those — and they do — the decision is already made.

What does five cartridges' worth of toner look like in a real office?

At 5,000 rated pages each, the box holds 25,000 pages. An office printing and copying 2,500 pages a month is looking at roughly ten months of supply; a lighter office at 800 pages a month has years of toner, which is honestly more than it needs — the 2-pack or 3-pack would fit it better. The rating assumes standard 5% coverage, so dense, text-heavy pages will work through cartridges faster than the headline figure suggests.

If the wording is just wording, what actually protects my purchase?

The warranty, not the adjective. Every cartridge in this pack is covered by our 1-year warranty against defects and by 1-year free returns if it does not perform. A cartridge that arrives leaking, streaks from the first page, or fades far short of its rating is replaced or refunded — that commitment is identical on both 5-pack listings, and it is spelled out on our shipping and returns page. Judge us on that, and on the 0.35-cent cost per page, rather than on any label.

How should I store four cartridges while the first one is in the machine?

Sealed, flat, and boring: in their bags, in a cool dry cupboard, away from radiators and sunny windowsills. Mark the month they arrived on each box and work through them oldest-first. A sealed Canon 120 cartridge keeps its performance in storage, so the fourth cartridge out of this box should print like the first — storage only becomes a problem when seals are broken early or boxes live somewhere hot and damp.

Where will the order come from, and can I reach a person about it?

The pack ships from US stock at whichever of our warehouses — Illinois, Pennsylvania, Georgia or California — is nearest to you. If you want to talk through whether five cartridges is the right depth of stock for your machine before you commit, our support team answers Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST, and they will give you the same straight answer this page does.
