Frequently Asked Questions

What does the second cartridge in this 2 pack actually save?

$13.34 against buying the same cartridges one at a time. Two single TN750 cartridges currently total $287.10; this pack is $273.76, which works out at $136.88 per cartridge instead of $143.55, and holds the per-page cost near 1.7 cents. It is a modest, genuine saving rather than a dramatic one — the pack earns its keep mainly in the question below, about who goes through 8,000-page cartridges in pairs.

Who orders high-yield cartridges two at a time?

Offices running more than one machine on this platform, and single-machine sites whose volume is high enough that an empty printer stops work. With a spare TN750 on the shelf, a toner-low warning at 4 PM is a two-minute swap instead of a delivery wait. Facilities and office managers also use the pack to stock a quarter's printing in one purchase order — two cartridges at 8,000 pages each is a predictable chunk of a department's year.

What is in the box?

Two genuine Brother TN750 high-yield black cartridges, each individually boxed, each rated at 8,000 pages, each the identical cartridge sold singly as the TN750. Both load into the DR720 drum unit in the standard way. Nothing about the pack changes installation, reporting or print quality — it is a stocking format, and the second cartridge simply waits sealed until the first is spent.

Which printers does this pack fit?

The fifteen models of the TN720/TN750 platform: DCP-8110DN, DCP-8150DN and DCP-8155DN; HL-5440D, HL-5450DN, HL-5470DW, HL-5470DWT, HL-6180DW and HL-6180DWT; and MFC-8510DN, MFC-8710DW, MFC-8810DW, MFC-8910DW, MFC-8950DW and MFC-8950DWT. If your site runs a mix of those machines, one pack on the shelf covers any of them.

How should the spare cartridge be stored while the first one works?

Flat, sealed in its box, in a normal indoor cupboard — no heat sources, no damp, no direct sun. Stored that way, a genuine cartridge is indifferent to waiting months between its partner's installation and its own turn. What shortens tempers is not storage but discovery: offices buy this pack so the spare is found in the cupboard, not on a delivery van, when it is needed.

How are returns handled on this pack?

Our return window runs 30 days from delivery in all cases — wrong item, damaged arrival or a change of plan — and each cartridge carries Brother's manufacturer warranty as genuine stock. The full terms sit on the shipping and returns page. Orders ship from the nearest of our Illinois, Pennsylvania, Georgia and California warehouses, and support is reachable Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST.
