Frequently Asked Questions
Our prints have started leaning pink — could the cyan be the cause?
Yes, that is cyan's tell-tale. Pink and magenta casts appear when the color that should balance them runs short: cyan is the counterweight to red in every mixture the machine makes, so a fading TN210C lets reds push through, blues go violet and greens lose their yellow-green life. If the gauge shows cyan low, a fresh cartridge is the fix; if cyan reads healthy, the same cast can come from a magenta over-delivering, but an emptying cyan is by far the commoner culprit.
How far does 1,400 pages of cyan actually go in a small office?
Usually much further in time than the bare figure suggests. The 1,400-page rating assumes a standard test page; an office document with a logo, a chart and some headings uses cyan on only a fraction of its area, so a TN210C commonly serves for many months alongside several black cartridges. Full-color brochures and photo sheets are the exception — they draw cyan at something closer to the rated pace, and their owners learn to keep a spare.
Which printers take the TN210C?
The eleven models of the TN210 platform: the DCP-9010CN; the HL-3040CN, HL-3045CN, HL-3070CW and HL-3075CW; and the MFC-9010CN, MFC-9120CN, MFC-9125CN, MFC-9320CN, MFC-9320CW and MFC-9325CW. Cyan occupies its own slot in the shared drum tray next to the TN210BK black and the TN210M and TN210Y, and each of the four is replaced independently.
What does the TN210C cost per page?
Around 7.7 cents of rated capacity — $107.45 over 1,400 pages. That is the premium end of this platform's running costs, as color usually is, and worth knowing when color is being used by default: documents that do not need color are far cheaper printed on the black cartridge alone. Against the TN210C's $150.43 list price, our figure is the discounted one, so 7.7 cents is the genuine rate.
Can I change only the cyan and leave the other colors?
Absolutely, and that is the normal pattern. Each cartridge is gauged and emptied on its own schedule, and the printer only asks for the color that is spent. Changing one at a time keeps fresh toner where it is needed and money out of cartridges that still have life. A multi-color change makes sense only when several gauges are low together.
What are the return and warranty terms on this cartridge?
Thirty days from delivery to return it, whatever the reason — defective, damaged in transit or simply ordered in error — with the details set out on the shipping and returns page. Beyond our window the cartridge carries Brother's manufacturer warranty, as all genuine Brother stock does. We dispatch from warehouses in Illinois, Pennsylvania, Georgia and California, and support runs Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST.

The genuine cyan for Brother's compact TN210 color platform — 1,400 rated pages at $107.45 against a $150.43 list. It holds up the blues and greens of the DCP-9010, HL-3040 and MFC-9320 generation and swaps on its own schedule.
