Frequently Asked Questions

Our printer does nothing but invoices, labels and statements all day — why is this the bundle built for it?

Because high-volume monochrome work burns toner, not drums. This bundle leans into that: three TN660 high-yield cartridges, rated at 2,600 pages each — about 7,800 pages of toner in total — plus one DR630 drum unit rated at 12,000 pages. A shipping desk or accounts office on this platform can empty a cartridge in weeks while its drum barely ages. Stocking three cartridges at once, with the drum renewed alongside, means the machine's supply stops being a weekly thought for months at a time.

What is the saving on this, the largest of the TN660 bundles?

It is the family's best arithmetic. The contents bought separately at current prices — three TN660 cartridges at $96.91 and one DR630 at $129.08 — total $419.81. The bundle is $327.80, so you keep $92.01, and against the $491.70 list price the reduction is $163.90. Another way to see it: with the drum counted at its solo price, the three cartridges inside this box effectively cost about $66.24 apiece, far below the $96.91 single price.

Will one drum really cover all three cartridges?

With room to spare. Three TN660 cartridges total roughly 7,800 rated pages; the DR630 is rated at 12,000. So after the third cartridge runs dry, the drum still has thousands of rated pages left — enough for a fourth cartridge and part of a fifth. That is why there is only one drum in the box: a second drum would be stock you cannot use for a year or more. When this drum eventually approaches its limit, the machine's drum warning will say so.

Is there any risk in fitting cartridges bought months earlier?

None, if they have been stored properly. Keep the unopened TN660 boxes in a cool, dry spot away from sunlight and heaters, and each cartridge will print to its full rating whenever it is fitted. Use them in the order they arrived. High-volume desks often write the purchase date on each box for exactly this rotation. The drum, fitted at the start, simply works through them one by one.

Which printers does this three-toner bundle fit?

The sixteen models of the TN660 platform: the DCP-L2520DW and DCP-L2540DW; the printers HL-L2300D, HL-L2305W, HL-L2315DW, HL-L2320D, HL-L2340DW, HL-L2360DW and HL-L2380DW; and the all-in-ones MFC-L2680W, MFC-L2685DW, MFC-L2700DW, MFC-L2705DW, MFC-L2707DW, MFC-L2720DW and MFC-L2740DW. All sixteen run the same TN660 cartridge and DR630 drum, so the bundle suits whichever of them is doing the heavy mono work.

What returns and warranty cover come with the bundle?

The genuine Brother arrangement applies to the whole box: returns are accepted for 30 days in all cases, and Brother's manufacturer warranty covers the cartridges and the drum. The details live on our shipping and returns page. If anything in the bundle arrives damaged, tell support before fitting it — the team is on hand Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST.
