Frequently Asked Questions

This listing says "Premium Quality." Am I getting a better cartridge than the standard listing?

Plainly put, no — and we would rather tell you that than imply otherwise. The Premium Quality listing and the standard listing for this machine offer the same cartridges, at the same $72.30 price, under the same warranty and return terms. The label is a listing name, not a higher grade of toner, so buy this one or the standard one with equal confidence.

Which supply numbers should our machine be showing for this set to be right?

Four of them: black is 106R01597, cyan is 106R01594, magenta is 106R01595 and yellow is 106R01596. Compare them with the labels on the cartridges in your machine; when the numbers line up, this is the refill set your machine uses.

Sunday bulletins are our big print job. How should we think about the ratings?

Black does the heavy lifting — the bulletin body is text, and the black cartridge is rated at 3,000 pages. Each color is rated at 2,500 pages and typically serves the cover sheet, the announcements page and seasonal inserts. A congregation printing fifty bulletins a week will work through black many times faster than any single color.

Different volunteers run the office each week. Is changing a cartridge something anyone can do?

Yes. Each cartridge is a sealed unit in a clearly separate slot — out with the empty, in with the fresh, close the cover. There are no tools, no loose toner and no settings to adjust, which makes it a safe job to hand to whoever is on office duty that week.

The office closes for two weeks in summer. Should the spare set be stored any special way?

Just keep it in its sealed box in a normal cupboard, out of direct sun and away from heating vents. Unopened cartridges wait patiently; when the office reopens, the set is ready to install one cartridge at a time as each color is called for.

How do orders reach us, and what if something arrives wrong?

Orders ship from whichever of our IL, PA, GA and CA warehouses is closest to you, with the full details on our shipping and returns page. Each cartridge carries a 1-year warranty and 1-year free returns, support runs Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST, and the Xerox brand page lists the rest of the range when the office adds another machine.

About This WorkCentre 6505 Premium High Yield Four-Color Set

In a church office, the WorkCentre 6505 is the quiet engine behind every Sunday: bulletins, sign-up sheets, copied music and the newsletter nobody remembers printing until it runs out. This high yield set is built for that dependable rhythm — 3,000 pages from black, 2,500 from each color — and the Premium Quality name changes nothing about what arrives: the same cartridges as the standard listing, at the same $72.30. Match the four part numbers, keep a set in the office cupboard, and Sunday morning stops depending on a toner warning.
