Frequently Asked Questions

What does "Premium Quality" actually change on this 7800GX set?

Honestly, nothing about what lands on your desk. The Premium listing ships the same four cartridges — 106R01569 black, 106R01566 cyan, 106R01567 magenta, 106R01568 yellow — at the same $322.35 price, under the same warranty and return terms as the standard listing. It is a listing label, not a different grade of toner, so order from whichever page you landed on and the identical set arrives.

We print photo proofs and portfolio pages. How do the ratings translate?

Black is rated for 24,000 pages and every color for 17,200 pages at standard coverage. A photographic page is nearly all coverage, so image-heavy studio work burns through cyan, magenta and yellow far faster than the ratings suggest, while black holds out longer on the text and contact-sheet side. Expect to reorder colors around your shooting calendar rather than the calendar year.

How do we double-check the numbers before a busy season rush?

Open the supplies screen on the printer, or read the label on any cartridge you pull out, and line the numbers up against the set: 106R01569 in black, 106R01566 in cyan, 106R01567 in magenta, 106R01568 in yellow. Four matches mean this is the refill your machine already runs on, and you can order before the rush instead of during it.

Skin tones are drifting on our proofs. Is one cartridge the problem?

Very likely, and it does not take the whole set down with it. Each color is an independent sealed unit, so swap only the channel that has gone weak, run a calibration sheet, and check the tones again. The remaining three cartridges stay in the machine and keep working.

How is delivery handled when a client session is booked?

Your set leaves from the closest of our warehouses in Illinois, Pennsylvania, Georgia or California, and the delivery and returns details are laid out on our shipping and returns page. Studios that print on appointment usually hold a sealed spare set so a low-toner warning never collides with a booked session.

What protection comes with the set?

A 1-year warranty and 1-year free returns stand behind every cartridge, so a faulty unit is exchanged or refunded without a fight. Help is available Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST, and the full Xerox catalogue is gathered on the brand page if the studio runs more than one machine.

About This Phaser 7800GX Premium Quality Toner Set

A photography studio asks a lot of its printer: proofs a client can judge, portfolio pages that flatter the work, contact sheets by the stack. The 7800GX, a member of the Phaser 7800 line, feeds on this four-cartridge high-yield set — black 106R01569 rated at 24,000 pages, and cyan 106R01566, magenta 106R01567 and yellow 106R01568 rated at 17,200 pages each. The Premium Quality wording changes neither the cartridges nor the $322.35 price; what you get is the same set, the same ratings and the same coverage, ready for the next session.
