Frequently Asked Questions

Our prototype runs are short but almost entirely color. How should we read the yields?

Black carries a 32,000-page rating and cyan, magenta and yellow are rated at 25,000 pages apiece, all at standard coverage. Short, saturated prototype sheets consume toner at several times the standard rate, so in a packaging workshop the colors will cycle far sooner than the ratings suggest — the black cartridge, used mainly for text and barcodes, typically outlasts several color rotations.

How do we check this set is the one our 7760DXM expects?

The machine already knows. Its supplies screen names the four cartridges by number, and the set matches when those numbers are 106R01163 for black, 106R01160 for cyan, 106R01161 for magenta and 106R01162 for yellow. Trust that screen over any label a previous order left behind in the supply drawer.

One color is drifting weak on proofs while the others look fine. What then?

Change only the weak channel. The cartridges are separate sealed units, so the fading color is swapped on its own and the healthy three stay installed and untouched. For a workshop proofing packaging, that keeps a single tired cartridge from wasting the remaining life in the rest of the set.

Does the Premium Quality name on this listing mean a better cartridge?

No. Premium Quality here is a title, not a specification: the cartridges, the ratings, the $240.43 price and the warranty and returns terms are identical to the standard Phaser 7760DXM set. A buyer choosing between the two listings is choosing between two names for the same box, and we state that openly rather than imply an upgrade that is not in the carton.

Can we keep a set on the shelf through slow months?

Yes — sealed toner stores well because the contents are dry powder. Keep the box away from heat and sunlight, install cartridges individually as the running ones finish, and a set bought during a busy quarter will still be ready when the next prototype round lands months later.

How do delivery and support work for our workshop?

Orders leave from the closest of our IL, PA, GA and CA warehouses; delivery windows and the returns route are detailed on our shipping and returns page. Each cartridge is backed by a 1-year warranty and 1-year free returns, and our support team answers Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST. The rest of the Xerox range is gathered on the brand page.

About This Phaser 7760DXM Premium Quality Four-Color Toner Set

Packaging and prototype work on a Phaser 7760 platform machine is a study in extremes: short runs, saturated color, and clients who judge the printer by a single sheet. This set for the 7760DXM is built to absorb that pattern — a 32,000-page black cartridge for the text and labelling side, and 25,000 pages in each color for the proofing side, with single-cartridge swaps when one channel fades first. Verify the four part numbers on your supplies screen, order at $240.43, and keep the workshop's proofing rhythm uninterrupted.
