Frequently Asked Questions
Which toner cartridge does the OkiPage 12EX take?
The OkiPage 12EX uses 52109001. Swap in a fresh cartridge when prints fade or the printer reports toner out — it is a quick front-loading swap with no tools.
Prints from my OkiPage 12EX are coming out faded — is the toner empty?
Light or gray prints from the OkiPage 12EX usually mean the toner cartridge is nearly spent. A gentle shake can buy a few more pages, but plan on replacing the 52109001 soon.
My OkiPage 12EX prints vertical lines down the page — is the toner bad?
Vertical streaks on the OkiPage 12EX usually come from a dirty LED printhead lens or a worn drum rather than the toner itself. Gently wipe the LED lens with a dry, lint-free cloth; if lines persist after cleaning, the image drum may be due for replacement.
