Frequently Asked Questions
What cartridges does the Oki MC860 use?
The MC860 uses black 44059213, cyan 44059214, magenta 44059215, and yellow 44059216. This four-cartridge set covers both printing and copying on this MFP.
My MC860 copies have a background tint the originals lack. Why?
Background tint on copies usually comes from the copy exposure setting, not toner. Lower the background removal or exposure level. If computer prints show the same tint, check for a depleted color cartridge.
Should I buy the full MC860 toner set or individual cartridges?
Buy individually and replace only depleted colors, since each color drains at its own rate. A full set makes sense only if several colors are low at once.
