Xpress M2820ND
The Xpress M2820ND is the M2820 wired for the office network with duplex built in — the fleet-friendly spec. Fleet buyers like single-SKU simplicity, and the D115 branch delivers: one cartridge shape (D115S or D115L, 3,000-page high yield), drum included, no separate imaging unit. Our compatible MLT-D115 cartridges make fleet-wide refills economical.

Frequently Asked Questions
Should I buy the MLT-D115S or the MLT-D115L for the Xpress M2820ND?
Both fit the Xpress M2820ND identically; the MLT-D115L high-yield cartridge simply holds more toner and costs less per page, while the MLT-D115S standard cartridge costs less upfront. For a networked mono laser printer with duplex with steady volume, the L cartridge means fewer swaps and lower running costs. Light or occasional users do fine with the S — toner does not improve with age, so there is no benefit to buying capacity you will not use within a year or so.
Prints from my Xpress M2820ND look faded. Is it the toner or something else?
Rule out settings first: toner-save or draft mode left on makes the Xpress M2820ND print pale indefinitely. With normal density, remove the cartridge — MLT-D115S or MLT-D115L — rock it gently side to side to redistribute toner, and reseat it. Even fading across the whole page after that means the cartridge is spent; repeating defects in the same spot suggest a worn drum surface inside the cartridge instead.
Can the Xpress M2820ND warn me before the toner runs out?
Yes — connected over the network, the Xpress M2820ND can send low-toner email alerts and shows live cartridge levels on its web interface. Set up notifications before a big print run rather than discovering an empty MLT-D115 mid-job. Offices standardizing on the high-yield MLT-D115L can also keep one spare on the shelf, since toner is the only routine consumable this printer needs.
