C480FW
The C480FW is the fully-loaded C480: fax, wireless, and the fast color engine in one box. The most capable variant gets used the hardest, and hard-used color lasers are where compatible toner pays off most dramatically — four cartridges, every page. Our compatible CLT-404S family (K/C/M/Y) fits the C480FW exactly.

Frequently Asked Questions
The C480FW faxes as well as prints - will faxing drain my color cartridges?
No. Incoming and outgoing faxes print in black only, consuming just the CLT-K404S. Your CLT-C404S, CLT-M404S and CLT-Y404S are untouched by fax traffic, though heavy faxing means stocking extra black.
I have spare CLT-404S cartridges bought for a C480W - will they work if we replace it with a C480FW?
Yes - the C480FW takes the exact same four CLT-404S cartridges. Fax and wireless features do not change the toner the machine accepts, so your spares transfer directly.
Our C480FW gets junk faxes daily - how do we stop them from eating the CLT-K404S?
Enable the junk-fax blocker or caller-ID filtering in the fax settings so unwanted faxes never print. Every blocked junk fax is toner saved - and on a fax-heavy machine, that adds up to real CLT-K404S life.
