OfficeJet 2621

The HP OfficeJet 2621 prints with the HP 61 ink family. Original HP codes for this family: CH561WN, CH562WN, CH563WN, CH564WN, with rated yields from about 165 to about 430 pages. Every Clever Supplies cartridge below is a compatible built to the original specification — same fit, same rated yield, lifetime warranty — and this page lists exactly which ones the OfficeJet 2621 takes.

Cartridge	Colour	Approx. yield
CH561WN	Black	190 pages
CH562WN	Tri-color	165 pages
CH563WN	Black	430 pages
CH564WN	Tri-color	300 pages

Printers like the OfficeJet 2621 carry their printheads inside the cartridges, so every cartridge change is also a printhead renewal. That design makes these machines forgiving of age and irregular use — a dried-out head is replaced, not repaired — and it makes the quality of the cartridge you buy the single biggest factor in how the printer prints.

The cartridge carries a new compatible chip that reports ink levels to the printer. If a firmware update ever causes a recognition warning, reseating the cartridge and restarting the printer clears most false alarms; anything that still refuses to print is covered by the lifetime warranty.
