Frequently Asked Questions

My colour pages look washed out and flat, yet the printer insists no cartridge is empty — is it time to renew the whole colour side?

Quite possibly, yes. The supply gauges in this printer are estimates counted down from page totals, not sensors reading the powder itself, so a cartridge can be nearly spent while the display still shows a sliver remaining. Colour output also fades gradually rather than stopping overnight: photographs lose their punch, charts turn muddy and brand colours drift. When all three colour cartridges have aged together, that tired look comes from the trio as a group, and renewing them as a matched set restores the balance they had when they were fitted together.

Which cartridges are actually in this box?

One cartridge for each colour bay: the cyan is code 106R01144, the magenta is code 106R01145 and the yellow is code 106R01146. Every unit carries its code and colour on the label, so fitting them is simply a matter of matching each label to its bay. This is a colour-only set — the black cartridge for this platform is a different unit sold under its own listing, and it is not included here.

What does the set work out to per cartridge and per printed page?

The set is $121.92 for the three cartridges, which divides to $40.64 per cartridge. Each one is rated at 10,000 pages, so the box holds 30,000 pages of colour capacity in total. Spread across that rating, your colour toner cost lands at roughly 0.41 cents per page. Those page figures rest on the industry-standard 5% coverage test page; dense graphics, full-bleed photos and heavy background shading will pull the real-world count below the rating, while ordinary office documents with a logo and a chart or two usually come close to it.

Do all three cartridges have to be fitted on the same day?

No. If only the cyan has given out, fit the cyan and keep the other two sealed in the box — a cartridge stored sealed, flat and at room temperature keeps perfectly well until its turn comes. The reason many offices swap the trio together is practical rather than technical: when one colour reaches the end, its partners are usually not far behind, and a single planned pause beats three separate interruptions spread over the following weeks. The choice is yours; the printer accepts the cartridges one bay at a time.

Will this set fit my Phaser 6350DP or 6350DT as well as the standard model?

Yes. The Phaser 6350, the Phaser 6350DP and the Phaser 6350DT are built on the same print engine and take identical colour cartridges; the suffixes mark differences in duplexing and paper handling, not in the toner bays. One set therefore serves any of the three variants, and a spare set on the shelf covers a mixed fleet of them.

What cover do I get if one of the three cartridges misbehaves?

Every cartridge in the set is backed by a 1-year warranty and 1-year free returns, so a unit that streaks, leaks or fails early goes back for a replacement or refund rather than becoming your loss. Orders leave from whichever of our warehouses — IL, PA, GA or CA — gives the shortest route to your door, and our support team is available Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST if you want a person rather than a web page. Full timelines and the returns procedure are set out on our shipping & returns page.

About This 3-Colour Set for the Phaser 6350

This box renews the complete colour side of the Phaser 6350 family in one purchase: a cyan 106R01144, a magenta 106R01145 and a yellow 106R01146, each rated at 10,000 pages and each a compatible cartridge built for this platform. At $121.92 the set brings a full colour renewal down to $40.64 a cartridge — handy when the three colours have worn down together and you want them ageing in step again from the same starting line. If you are stocking the black bay or other machines as well, the wider Xerox toner range is on the site, and every cartridge here travels with the 1-year warranty and 1-year free returns cover described above.
