Frequently Asked Questions

Who honestly needs five black cartridges at once — and who does not?

Five cartridges is 10,000 pages of black — twenty reams of paper. That suits a printer that works for its living: a front desk, a dispatch office, a classroom or admin machine on a Phaser 6125 or 6125N that prints all day, or several of these printers sharing one supply shelf. If your machine prints a few pages a week, be straight about it: five cartridges could outlast your interest in the printer, and a smaller pack is the smarter buy.

What is the maths at this quantity?

The 5-pack is $51.82, which is $10.36 per cartridge — against $25.15 for a single, and $125.75 if you bought five one at a time. You save $73.93, and across the pack's 10,000 pages the cost of black printing falls to about 0.52 cents per page, the lowest per-page figure in this cartridge's range.

Can one 5-pack serve more than one printer?

Yes, and that is one of its best uses. Every cartridge is the identical 106R01334, so a shelf stock of five can feed any mix of Phaser 6125 and 6125N machines without sorting spares by model or desk. Fit whichever machine calls first, and let the shelf level — not individual printers — drive your reordering.

How should a stock of five be managed so none are wasted?

Keep the boxes sealed, stacked flat in a dry cupboard away from heat sources, and work strictly oldest-first — write the arrival month on each box if several people draw from the shelf. Set your reorder point while it is still comfortable: when two cartridges remain, order the next pack. That way the stock is a system, not a pile, and no machine ever waits for toner.

Are the cartridges in the pack individually usable over a long period?

Yes. Each of the five is a complete, individually packaged 106R01334 rated at 2,000 pages; opening the outer pack does not start any clock on the others. Fit one, and the remaining four sit ready exactly as they arrived. The pack is a pricing and stocking format, not a different kind of cartridge.

What cover comes with a bulk order like this?

All five cartridges carry a one-year warranty and one year of free returns, as set out on our shipping and returns page. We ship from warehouses in IL, PA, GA and CA, with support Monday to Friday, 9 AM–5 PM CST. The complete range for these machines is on the Xerox toner page.
