Frequently Asked Questions
We have more than one 3655 in the building. Does one stock fit them all?
Yes — every WorkCentre 3655 in the building, and any 3655X alongside them, draws from the same cartridge, the 106R02738. A central stock of this 4 pack means whichever machine signals low first takes the next unit off the shelf; nobody has to keep per-printer supplies or wonder which box belongs to which desk.
What is the full page count behind this purchase?
Four cartridges at up to 14,400 rated pages each: about 57,600 pages in the box. For a single machine at 3,000 pages a month that is over a year and a half of printing; split across two machines in the same office, it is still a long, quiet stretch between orders.
How does the pricing settle out per cartridge?
The pack is $157.16, which is $39.29 per cartridge. Against this line's single-cartridge price of $53.15, buying the four together saves $55.44, and toner lands at roughly 0.27 cents per rated page. The cartridges are identical whichever way they are bought — the difference is purely the quantity discount.
Is there a risk in holding four cartridges centrally?
Very little. The units are sealed and the toner inside is a stable dry powder, so shelf time does not erode them. Store the stock flat in a dry cupboard away from heat sources. The only discipline worth keeping: take cartridges from the stock in order, so the shelf rotates naturally.
Our second machine is badged 3655X. Still the same shelf stock?
Still the same. The WorkCentre 3655 and the WorkCentre 3655X were built around one supply, numbered 106R02738. Mixed badges, one cartridge — that is precisely what makes a central stock workable.
What warranty and returns cover a stock purchase?
Each cartridge carries a one-year warranty and returns are free for a full year; the details are on the shipping and returns page. We ship from warehouses in IL, PA, GA and CA, with support staffed Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST.
