Frequently Asked Questions

Why is this pair filed under "3610 (106R02722)"?

The name combines the two ways buyers look for this toner: by printer family — the 3610 — and by part number, 106R02722. What you receive is two compatible high-yield black cartridges, each rated at up to 14,100 pages, for $40.01. However you arrived at the listing, the pair in the box is the platform's long-life cartridge, twice over.

How much does pairing save versus two singles?

Two singles cost $58.52. This pair is $40.01, so you save $18.51, and each cartridge works out to about $20.00 instead of $29.26. It is the first step down this family's price ladder: the same cartridge, bought two at a time, for noticeably less per unit.

How long does 28,200 pages last?

The pair holds up to 28,200 pages between the two cartridges. At 1,000 pages a month that is well over two years of printing; at 2,000 a month, around fourteen months. For a single machine with a moderate workload, one order of this pair can carry the printer through a long, quiet stretch.

Which printers does the pair fit?

Any machine on the platform: Phaser 3610, Phaser 3610DN, Phaser 3610N, Phaser 3610YDN, WorkCentre 3615 and WorkCentre 3615DN. The two cartridges can run back-to-back in one printer or serve two machines side by side.

Pair or bigger pack — how do I choose?

Match the pack to how fast the shelf empties. The pair suits one machine with a moderate appetite. If your volume is heavier, the 106R02722 4 pack drops each cartridge to $15.38 — worth it when you can foresee using four. The pair's virtue is balance: a real saving without a deep stock commitment.

What if one cartridge of the two has a problem?

Each cartridge is covered on its own by our 1-year warranty, and returns are free for a year under the terms on the shipping and returns page. One cartridge's issue does not affect the other's cover. Support is available Monday to Friday, 9 AM–5 PM CST.
