Frequently Asked Questions

Is a three-pack roughly a year's supply for an AC205?

For a lot of small offices, yes. Three cartridges at 5,000 pages each give you 15,000 pages. A desk printing 1,000 to 1,250 pages a month lands almost exactly on a year; a lighter user at 400 pages a month is covered for well over two years. If your machine handles a department's everyday printing at 2,000 pages a month, plan on the pack lasting about seven to eight months. Working out your monthly average first is the difference between a sensible annual buy and a box that sits forgotten.

What does the per-cartridge price work out to?

The three-pack is $143.31, which is $47.77 per cartridge — $12.33 less per unit than the $60.10 single price, and $36.99 saved across the three. On an older machine like the AC205, where the single-cartridge price per page is already on the high side at about 1.20 cents, the pack pricing is the practical way to bring that cost down without changing machines or suppliers.

Do these cartridges fit my printer?

This pack is made for Ricoh AC205. All three cartridges are the same black unit the AC205 takes one at a time, so two of the three are shelf spares by design. The model was sold under the single AC205 name, which keeps ordering simple: if that is the name on your machine, this is its cartridge.

How should I store two spare cartridges properly?

Leave them sealed in their bags, lying flat, in a cool dry cupboard away from radiators and sunny windowsills. Write the arrival date on each box and always install the oldest first — that first-in, first-out habit is the whole of toner stock management at this scale. A sealed cartridge stored this way will be in full working order when its turn comes, even if that is many months away.

What happens if the middle cartridge of the three turns out faulty?

It is dealt with on its own. Each cartridge carries a 1-year warranty and 1-year free returns, so a unit that leaks or fails early is replaced or refunded individually — you do not send the whole pack back or lose the good cartridges over one bad one. The policy details are on our shipping & returns page, and our support team is reachable Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST.

Where does my order ship from?

We dispatch from four warehouses — Illinois, Pennsylvania, Georgia and California — and your order leaves from the one best placed for your address. For a planned annual buy like this pack, delivery speed matters less than it does for an emergency single, but the spread still means the box typically arrives in days. It also means a follow-up order later in the year ships from the same network, so restocking is predictable.
