Frequently Asked Questions

Why buy two black cartridges at once instead of one?

The second cartridge is your insurance against downtime: when the first one runs out mid-week, the spare is already on the shelf and the swap takes a minute. You also pay less per cartridge — $52.34 each in this two-pack versus the single-cartridge price, a saving of $18.48 across the pair.

How many pages do I get from the pair?

Each cartridge is rated at 15,000 pages, so the two-pack covers about 30,000 black pages in total. That works out to roughly 0.35 cents per page, which suits offices that print steadily month after month.

Will the spare cartridge go bad sitting on the shelf?

No, as long as it stays sealed in its box in a cool, dry spot away from sunlight and heat. Toner does not dry out like ink, so a spare bought today will still perform when you install it months from now.

Which printers is this two-pack made for?

Both cartridges fit the Ricoh MP C401 and MP C401SR platform — the Ricoh MP C401 and MP C401SR color multifunction printers. The listing uses the 841918 cartridge number, and that same cartridge works across the platform, not just one specific model.

When should I reorder so I never run dry?

A good rule is to reorder when you install the second cartridge from this pack. That gives shipping time a comfortable buffer, and since orders leave from warehouses in IL, PA, GA, and CA, most customers see delivery within a few business days.

What if one of the two cartridges turns out to be faulty?

Each cartridge carries its own one-year warranty, and you can return a problem cartridge free of charge within that year — you do not have to send back both. The full policy is on our shipping and returns page, and support is reachable Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST.
