Frequently Asked Questions

Who actually burns through five cartridges in a B420?

Offices where the B420 never really rests — billing runs, shipping paperwork, multi-user departments. Five 43979215 cartridges, each rated at up to 12,000 pages, amount to as many as 60,000 pages, and at $58.93 the pack brings your cost down to about $11.79 per cartridge.

How much do I save versus ordering singles as I go?

Five single cartridges at $26.58 would come to $132.90. This pack is $58.93 — a saving of $73.97 on the same cartridges, with the added benefit that a replacement is always already on your shelf.

Should all five go straight into use?

Only one can sit in the printer at a time. The sensible rhythm is one installed and four sealed in storage, swapped in as each runs down. Kept boxed in a cool, dry spot, toner cartridges hold up well over the months it takes to work through the pack.

Are these made by Oki?

No. They are Clever Supplies compatible cartridges manufactured to the 43979215 specification — the extra high yield black cartridge your B420 is listed for. They are not genuine Oki products, which is precisely why the five-pack price is possible.

What backing comes with the pack?

A 1-year warranty on the cartridges and free returns for one year, the same terms as our single listings. The full wording is on the shipping & returns page.

Where will the shipment originate?

From whichever warehouse — Illinois, Pennsylvania, Georgia or California — is nearest to you. For help estimating how long five cartridges will last at your volume, support is on hand Monday to Friday, 9 AM–5 PM Central.
