Frequently Asked Questions

The E260 sips toner — why buy two cartridges at once?

Precisely because it sips: a cartridge can last the better part of a year, which means nobody remembers toner until the day it fades mid-job. A second cartridge in the drawer converts that day into a two-minute swap, and the reorder happens calmly afterward. The pair is less about volume than about never having to think about toner at all.

What does the two-pack save?

Two singles would run $212.04; the pair is $193.56, saving $18.48 and pricing each cartridge at $96.78 for 7,000 combined rated pages. It remains a small-cartridge platform cost-wise — around 2.77 cents a page — but the discount is automatic for a supply you are certain to use eventually.

Can the pair cover an E260 and an E360 in the same office?

Yes. The E260A21A is shared across E260, E260D, E260DN, E360, E360DN, E460, E460DN and E460DW, so either cartridge can go into whichever machine in the family runs dry first. This listing carries the E260 name; the contents fit the platform.

What is the right moment to order the next pair?

When the second cartridge goes into the printer. That gives the replacement the whole life of the installed cartridge — months, on this platform — to arrive and take its place in the drawer. Offices that reorder at the fade instead are the ones printing on borrowed time.

Will a cartridge stored for a year still print properly?

Yes, if it lives in reasonable conditions: sealed, dry, room temperature, out of direct sun and away from heaters. Toner is a stable dry powder, and a dated, oldest-first rotation keeps the drawer honest. Avoid attics and garages, where temperature swings are extreme.

How are the two cartridges covered?

Individually. Each one carries a one-year warranty, and returns are free during the first year, arranged through our shipping and returns page. If one cartridge ever disappoints, it is exchanged on its own — the other stays in your drawer, unaffected. Help is available Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST.
