Frequently Asked Questions
How does the 5-set price compare with the 4-color set?
This set is $395.49 — $75.41 above the $320.08 four-color set. Spread across five cartridges, the average cost per cartridge edges down to about $79.10, a small step below the roughly $80.02 average in the 4-pack. It is a modest bulk saving, not a dramatic one, and it only pays off if your printer actually works through toner at a steady pace.
Which cartridges does this set cover?
It is built around the same four Dell part numbers as the rest of the C3760 line: 331-8421 black, 331-8424 cyan, 331-8423 magenta and 331-8422 yellow. Those are the only toner cartridges a Color Laser C3760n or C3760dn takes, so the set stays within that family.
How are the yields rated across the set?
By class, not as one lump sum. The black 331-8421 carries a 9,000-page rating, while the colors — 331-8424 cyan, 331-8423 magenta and 331-8422 yellow — are each rated at 11,000 pages. Colors rated higher than black looks unusual, but that is how this cartridge family is specified, and we quote the classes separately rather than adding them into a single total.
Who actually buys toner five cartridges at a time?
Usually a small office that has been caught short before: a shared C3760dn doing invoices, reports and color handouts all week. Keeping a fifth cartridge in the drawer means a low-toner warning never turns into a stalled print run. Light home users, honestly, are better served by the smaller set — toner sitting on a shelf for years helps nobody.
What protection do I get with compatible cartridges?
Every cartridge in this set is a compatible (non-OEM) unit, and each one is covered by a one-year warranty with free returns for one year as well. The full terms are on our shipping & returns page.
Where does my order ship from?
From whichever of our four warehouses — Illinois, Pennsylvania, Georgia or California — is positioned to reach you fastest. Questions before you order? Support is available Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST.
