Frequently Asked Questions
What exactly is inside this 4-color set?
Four cartridges, one for each position in your printer: the 331-8421 black, the 331-8424 cyan, the 331-8423 magenta and the 331-8422 yellow. Together they cover every toner slot in a Dell Color Laser C3760n or C3760dn, so one order refreshes the whole machine instead of chasing whichever color ran out first.
Why do the color cartridges carry a higher page rating than the black?
It is the reverse of what most people expect. The black 331-8421 is rated at 9,000 pages, while each of the three color cartridges — 331-8424, 331-8423 and 331-8422 — is rated at 11,000 pages. In practice, black still tends to run out first in offices that print mostly text, because black does the heavy lifting on everyday documents even with the smaller rated capacity.
What does the set cost per cartridge?
The set is $320.08, which works out to about $80.02 per cartridge across the four positions. We do not split that into a per-color page cost — the black and the colors have different ratings (9,000 versus 11,000 pages), so a single cents-per-page figure for the set would be misleading.
Do I have to install all four cartridges at the same time?
No. Each cartridge is individually packaged and installs on its own. Plenty of buyers swap in only the empty position and shelve the rest. Toner does not spoil quickly, so the remaining cartridges keep fine in a cool, dry drawer until their turn comes.
Are these genuine Dell cartridges?
No — they are compatible cartridges built to match Dell's 331-8421, 331-8424, 331-8423 and 331-8422 specifications. That is where the savings come from, and they are backed by a one-year warranty plus free returns for a full year, per our shipping & returns policy.
How fast will my order arrive?
We ship from four warehouses — Illinois, Pennsylvania, Georgia and California — so most orders travel a short distance. If a question comes up before or after delivery, our support team answers Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST.
About This C3760 4-Color Set
This four-pack refills a Dell Color Laser C3760n or C3760dn in one pass: 331-8421 black (9,000-page rating) plus 331-8424 cyan, 331-8423 magenta and 331-8422 yellow at 11,000 pages each. It suits offices that like to reset all four positions together and forget about toner for a long stretch, rather than ordering single colors as warnings pop up.
