Frequently Asked Questions

Why does a working office keep a second cartridge on the shelf?

Because copiers never run dry at a convenient moment. This 2-pack of Canon GPR-10 black cartridges (GPR10BK) puts one cartridge in the machine and one in the cupboard, so the mid-job toner warning becomes a two-minute swap instead of a stalled department. For a shared imageRUNNER, that spare is the difference between a hiccup and a halted afternoon.

What does the 2-pack save against buying two singles?

Two single GPR10BK cartridges bought separately cost $61.12. This pack is $42.62 — a saving of $18.50, which brings the effective price down to $21.31 per cartridge. Same cartridge, same 5,300-page rating each; the discount is purely for taking the pair in one box.

What does that do to the cost per page?

It cuts it by roughly a third. The single cartridge works out near 0.58 cents a page; across this pack's 10,600 combined rated pages, the $42.62 price works out to about 0.40 cents a page. On a machine printing thousands of pages a month, that gap is real money by the end of a quarter.

Can the two cartridges be split between two machines?

Yes. Nothing ties the pair together — if your office runs two machines that both take the Canon GPR-10, one cartridge can go to each. Offices with a small fleet often buy packs centrally and distribute the cartridges to whichever machine calls for toner first.

Should the spare be opened and checked when it arrives?

There is no need. Leave the second cartridge sealed until the day it is installed; the seal keeps the toner fresh. Store the box flat, away from heat and damp, and write the arrival date on it if your cupboard holds several spares, so the oldest stock gets used first.

Are both cartridges covered if one turns out faulty?

Both are. Every cartridge we sell is backed by a 1-year warranty and 1-year free returns — the terms are on our shipping & returns page. Stock ships from our warehouses in IL, PA, GA and CA, and our support team is on hand Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST.

About This Canon GPR-10 Black 2-Pack

This pack holds two compatible Canon GPR-10 black toner cartridges, part code GPR10BK, each rated at 5,300 pages, for $42.62 all-in — $21.31 a cartridge and around 0.40 cents per page. It is the natural restock size for a single busy imageRUNNER or a pair of machines sharing one supply cupboard. If your volume is steadier and higher, the larger packs in the Canon range push the GPR10BK unit price lower still; if you only ever need one at a time, the single keeps the shelf light. The 2-pack is the middle ground most offices land on.
