Frequently Asked Questions

A wireless flagship takes jobs from everywhere — what does that mean for toner stocking?

It means demand is unpredictable by design. The MFC-L8850CDW accepts work from desks, laptops and phones across the office, so no one person sees the whole queue coming. The stocking answer is completeness: a full TN331 set in the cabinet — black rated at 2,500 pages, the three colors at 1,500 pages each — so any cartridge the machine asks for is already within arm's reach.

Which machines does this set serve?

The TN331 family, headed here by the MFC-L8850CDW: HL-L8250CDN, HL-L8350CDW, HL-L8350CDWT and MFC-L8600CDW. The four codes are TN331BK, TN331C, TN331M and TN331Y.

What does the set save a wireless office, in money and in friction?

Money: $74.41 for the set against $129.91 for the four cartridges bought singly — $55.50 saved. Friction: one order and one delivery restock the whole platform, instead of four separate shortages discovered by four different people printing four different jobs.

Does buying the set mean fitting all four cartridges when it arrives?

No — each cartridge is fitted only when the one in the machine runs out. The set is a stocking format. In a wireless office that distinction matters, because colors are consumed unevenly by jobs nobody coordinated.

Should a machine this capable be running the high-yield TN336 set instead?

TN336 raises the platform to 4,000 pages in black and 3,500 per color, and the very busiest MFC-L8850CDW installations do standardize on it. But wireless flagships are often bought for flexibility rather than maximum duty; where daily volume is moderate and varied, the TN331 set's lower refresh cost is the sensible default.

What backs the set if any cartridge disappoints?

A 1-year warranty and 1-year free returns on every cartridge, set out in the shipping & returns policy. We hold stock in IL, PA, GA and CA, and support is available 9 AM–5 PM CST for whoever ends up doing the swap.

About This TN331 4-Color Set for the MFC-L8850CDW

A wireless flagship collects work from the whole office, and its toner stock has to be ready for all of it. This TN331 four-color set keeps the MFC-L8850CDW's complete standard-yield platform — the 2,500-page black and the three 1,500-page colors — on the shelf in one $74.41 order, $55.50 below the separate-cartridge total. For a Brother machine with no single owner, that completeness is the whole point.
